TITLE: OCTOBER — A SUNSET ON LIVERMORE VALLEY VINEYARD
ARTIST: NOVA STARLING

Nova Starling combines an interest in nature, photography and technology within her artwork. Vineyards are one of her current subjects both in photography and painting mediums. She hikes in the early morning and around sunset to photograph her subject in the best light. Giclee printing (archival inks on archival paper) produce the finished work as digital art in limited edition.

Nova has operated her own design firm since 1976, creating products for the gift and fashion market until 1997. Her designs have been displayed nationally from 5th Avenue in New York to Union Square in San Francisco. That period was followed by a career in computer graphics, photography and painting until present.

She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit and a Master of Arts Design from the University of California, Berkeley.
